As we begin the school year, I wanted to offer a few reminders for those of you who use the Montana: Stories of the Land textbook:
1. Learning Ally (http://www.learningally.org/) has created an audio version of Montana: Stories of the Land for students who cannot read standard print due to blindness, visual impairment, dyslexia, or other learning disabilities.
2. The Montana: Stories of the Land Companion Website and Online Teacher’s Guide offers a wealth of material to supplement the textbook (or to use independently). You can take a guided tour of the website (and earn one OPI renewal unit) through this online training module: http://www.svcalt.mt.gov/education/Textbook/PDTraining/MSOLtraining.asp.
